Dumont Tweezers

Dumont Tweezers are trusted worldwide for precision handling in microscopy, microsurgery, neuroscience, cell biology, electronics assembly, and other demanding laboratory applications. WPI offers genuine Dumont tweezers in a variety of tip patterns, lengths, and configurations, including straight, curved, angled, and specialty designs for delicate manipulation tasks.

Choosing the right tweezer material is just as important as selecting the proper tip pattern. Dumont tweezers are available in several premium materials, each designed to provide specific performance characteristics for different laboratory environments.

Dumostar -Dumostar is an antimagnetic, corrosion-resistant alloy that offers excellent elasticity and durability. Compared to stainless steel, Dumostar provides greater resistance to metal fatigue while maintaining exceptional tip alignment. It is resistant to mineral and organic acids, autoclavable, and favored for applications requiring long-term precision and reliability.

Dumoxel - Dumoxel is a patented Dumont alloy with exceptional corrosion resistance due to its high chromium and molybdenum content. It is approximately 95% antimagnetic, highly resistant to staining, autoclavable, and more flexible than stainless steel. Because Dumoxel is more likely to bend than break, it is often preferred in applications where flexibility and chemical resistance are important.

Stainless Steel - Stainless steel remains the standard material for many precision instruments, providing a balance of strength, durability, and value for routine laboratory use.
