Accuracy You Can Rely On

Flexible Teflon microprobes support a wide range of uses, including tissue implantation, spectrophotometer cuvettes, rectal measurements in neonatal mice, water baths, PCR thermal cyclers, and other laboratory applications, as well as rectal temperature monitoring during surgical procedures and pyrogen testing. When precise temperature measurements are required, WPI monitors deliver both resolution and accuracy of 0.1 °C across the 0–50 °C range and are traceable to NIST standards (certification available). By comparison, many competitive electronic thermometers offer accuracy of only ±0.5 °C or worse. In addition, all WPI Type T probes are guaranteed accurate to 0.1 °C due to our stringent wire standards, making them up to five times more accurate than probes manufactured with standard “Special Limits” wire.
