World Precision Instruments (WPI), the global leader in TEER technology, is proud to introduce the EVOM™ Auto, our newest entry into our pioneering EVOM family of products. The EVOM™ Auto automates measurements of TEER in epithelial or endothelial monolayers cultured on high throughput screening (HTS) 24 and 96-well and plates utilizing our innovative EVOM technology, qualitatively measuring cell monolayer health and quantitatively measuring cell confluence by determining an increase or a plateau in tissue resistance.

Automated measurement of tissue resistance of  transwell cell cultures provides the advantages of speed and precision, minimizes the chances of contamination, and ensures the rapid availability of measured resistance data. EVOM™ Auto produces a low AC current that omits any adverse physiological effects of the measurement technique on the samples and is specially designed for the non-destructive, high throughput screening of epithelial/ endothelial cellular physiology (e.g.,  confluence of cellular monolayers, barrier integrity of cell cultures, cytotoxicity).

  • Two identical plate adapter keys and one depth adjustment fixture are included per matching plate type. One plate adapter is needed and a 2nd one is provided as a spare.
  • If two different plate types are listed for the plate adapter key, it means both plate types can be used with the same plate adapter key. Example: C24/M24 plate adapter key is used for Corning 24 and Millipore 24 well HTS plates.
